There is a crack, a crack in everything.
That's how the light gets in!

~ Leonard Cohen

~There will be opportunities to practice the Japanese art of Kintsugi* “Golden Joinery” where we will repair a piece of pottery and make it way more beautiful than it was when it was new. (You can finally repair that beloved china! Don't worry, we'll have extra pieces if you don't have something to repair.)

~There will be a clothing swap going on all weekend so you’ll be able to go home with a new wardrobe! So bring along any unwanted, but still wearable clothing, shoes, and accessories to pass onto your sisters. Sharing is caring!

~There will be opportunities to sew hems, buttons, embellishments, and make adjustments to your clothes, so they get a whole new lease on life. And who knows – maybe it will become your new, favourite it-piece. Upcycling at its best!

~There will be Morning Yoga, Some Downtime, a Cacao Ceremony,  Ecstatic Dance, and even an Open Mic session!! (OMG so much time to simply be and express yourself!)

~There’ll be vegan food lovingly prepared for you to feast like the Queens that you are, not just, but especially this weekend!!

~And of course there will be a fashion parade where we shine our light and strut our stuff to show off our new threads!! Sounds like fun? Do you think this weekend can’t get any better? Ummm yep, cause there are heaps more fun things that we want to keep as a special surprise for you!

~ There will be also the opportunity for massage and energy healing!

Meet the team

"As a workshop and retreat facilitator and mentor for women, I share my experiences, learnings and tools by holding space for true expression and connection.

Aside from completing different studies and trainings, my biggest teacher was and still is life.

I live my life by listening to my intuition, acting out of love and compassion and creating balance within myself and towards nature.

Through yoga, journaling, pranayama, meditation, intuitive movement, mantras and further techniques and sacred rituals I inspire people to live their life with more self-love, self-care and self-expression."

"As a Visionary Artist, Intentional Creativity Teacher and Life Coach, I stand for women living an inspired life as the very best version of themselves in any given moment.

I am so excited to be bringing my love and wisdom to this sacred gathering.

Arohanui Sisters...

See you soon!"

"I am an Intuitive Artist, born in Christchurch.

I have spent many years in Auckland and across the ditch. I have always been creative. I have a love of floristry, I am a quilter, patchworker and now an oil painter. I did a painting course in Cairns which piqued my interest but it wasn't until I met Vjekoslav Nemesh, in 2016, and took a weekend class with him that my art took on a new meaning in my life, I was hooked.

I’m trained in Peer Support and Mental Health, and have a strong passion for encouraging those who have lost their voice."

"As a Woman, a Mother, a Coach and an avid learner with a deep history of nuerodivergence, mental illness and trauma, I've spent years honing the art of using my body and my voice to express, move and release the parts of myself that no longer serve me.

My mission now is to educate and empower other women to do exactly that."

"From a young age I had a strong interest in clothing and textiles, growing up in a family who spun, wove, knitted, and sewed their own clothing. I studied tailoring, pattern making and fashion design, and my most rewarding role was as a personal stylist dress for Dress For Success. I love seeing the transformation of our beautiful wahine as they come out of the shells and embrace their true selves. I’m currently enjoying my mid-life awakening, and constantly evolving alongside other inspirational goddesses as we rise from the ashes together.

I’m trained in Peer Support and Mental Health, and have a strong passion for encouraging those who have lost their voice."

"Confidence is built with how we see ourselves. There is a spark that lights up in us when we look and feel our best.

That's why I've founded The

Wardrobe Dresser.

Here at The Wardrobe Dresser I can show you not only what colours and style will have you looking and feeling amazing, but also how to keep growing that confidence by giving you the skills needed to keep looking and feeling great about yourself all the time!

Its time to show the world what your made of, light that inner spark!"

"I am originally from Taumarunui and now dwell in Ōtautahi.

My mahi revolves around youth work and workshop facilitation. My joy comes from sharing my story and letting others be seen within their stories.

I come from a long line of creative women. My passion is upcycling clothing; Reimagining a discarded garment into something beautiful is a powerful metaphor for our world.

I am in a position of privilege to be able to access sustainable ways to live my life and explore how to walk more lightly on Papatūānuku/ Mother Earth."

"I am a Chef, mother & grandma.

I love to cook for people as a way of healing.

Food is good for the soul.

For this retreat there’ll be vegan kai, lovingly prepared for you to feast like the Queens that you are!"

"As a beauty therapist I am creating and nurturing beautiful and trustworthy relationships. My qualifications and life experience have helped bring me to a place of peace and tranquility within myself, and helped me become who I truly am today. A loving, caring, strong woman who loves to teach and inspire others! I embrace the power of positive touch and what it can bring to someone’s life as I believe that through Massage we are allow ourselves to be at one and find a sense of peace and relaxation within. By awakening these senses, we allow ourselves to become connected and find balance in our lives. My life purpose is to heal and nurture, and my healing comes from a place of love and compassion. Nurturing comes naturally to me and to nurture creates happiness."

"I am a healer, it is my calling and my profession.

I am a registered Nurse and a One Spirit trained hands on heart centered healer.

I bring compassion, empathy and a deep understanding to the women of this retreat.

I will be offering koha based sessions on Saturday afternoon."

"Never underestimate the power of an invitation. Reaching out to say, ‘I want to spend time with you and get to know you better’ can mean the difference between life and death for someone.

Connection is key to belonging, and belonging is what keeps us connected to each other.

You are invited to join us at this retreat, jump in with both feet, I promise you will be changed! I am Jill. Fierce, Feminine Leadership Facilitator and Social Impact Entrepreneur.

I can't wait to meet you and give you a big hug (with your consent of course!)"

*What is Kintsugi?

It's called kintsugi (金継ぎ), or kintsukuroi (金繕い), literally golden (“kin”) and repair (“tsugi”). This traditional Japanese art uses precious metal – liquid gold, liquid silver, or lacquer dusted with powdered gold – to bring together the pieces of a broken pottery item and at the same time enhance the breaks.

It is a meditative process where we can learn to accept and heal ourselves.
